We love the sound of twenty twelve… it’s got a fun ring to it.  Kind of rolls off the tongue with a smile on your face.  We at Beyond Skin are feeling like it’s going to be a year of shoes, bags and ‘beyond’….. so now is the time to to plan ahead and get some projections in place for the forthcoming year.

We have a few New Year’s Resolutions that we would like to share & possibly inspire some ideas for you…

• Start everyday with a smile & think about what you would like to happen within your day before it has even begun.
• Try something new – ceramics class/write a novel/submit a drawing to a competition or climb a mountain.  Aim to do something that initially makes you feel a little uneasy – we think the feeling of reward once it’s done it worth it!
• Challenge yourself!
• Write a list of everything that you would like to accomplish this year & leave on the fridge so you can remind yourself when you have done them & what’s left…this will help you visualise yourself doing these things.
• Do the thing you’re avoiding first in the day.
• Drink less caffeine & more champagne.
• Wear those ‘special’ shoes that you LOVE more than only on special occasions & feel sky high in!
